We are only one month away from the close of this year's Resurrection Sunday Contest!!!    This is always our biggest contest of the year.  We hope you will join in on the fun and we can't wait to see your entries!

Theme

Our focus this year is "What Jesus' sacrifice on the cross means to me."
This theme is broad, so that you can be open to express it in any way you like.  We want to see your own personal touch.

Rules

• Content must relate to the theme "What Jesus' sacrifice on the cross means to me". This must clearly be reflected in the deviation AND in the artist's description section.  
• Entries must be submitted to the contest folder called Easter 2017 to be entered into the contest.
• You may submit as many entries as you like but concentrate on quality and content, try to touch God with the expression of your art.
• All entries must meet our standard requirements listed in our journal on our profile under "How to submit a deviation".  Remember, only members can submit deviations.
• Contest ends on Easter Sunday, April 16th, 2017.  Check the countdown clock on our profile page for exact time.
• You cannot submit to the contest a deviation that is already in the group's gallery.  Only new submissions will be accepted for the contest.  Older deviations will be accepted, as long as they have not been submitted to the group before.
• Winners can only win one category.  You may submit to all the categories, but you can not win in more than one category.

Prizes

Winners will be chosen by the christians staff.  They will be judged on both quality and content.  If your entry has a strong message you still have a chance of winning even if your artistic skills "have room for improvement".  We are looking for quality deviations, but more importantly we are looking for a strong Easter message.  All for God's glory!

Winners will be announced 2 weeks after the contest is closed.  We will choose 2 winners for each of the following categories:

Digital Art

Traditional Art

Photography

Literature

The first place winners for each category will receive 2000 points each
The second place winners for each category will receive 800 points each
Additionally, all (8) winners will be interviewed and featured in our journal.
