My neighbor's daughter has a very serious, possibly life threatening, brain tumor. Her name is Alison and she's in her early or mid-20's. Alison is also a new mom to a 2-month old daughter. She's having surgery tonight to remove the tumor. So far, everything has gone right but she could certainly use more thoughts and prayers in hopes that things keep progressing in a positive direction.

If you choose to edit my prayer above into your prayer journal entry, it would be much appreciated as every prayer, no matter how big or how small, helps in her recovery. Your community was here for me with the help of in a previous prayer journal and I was hoping your community could be here for me once more.

It's not often that I go to those and ask for prayer online, but I'm feeling heavy with burdens that need to be lifted.

Lately, I've been feeling like I hardly made friends either online or in real life. I wants friends who can be real and honest with me, even if they're scared to share certain feelings with me, either online or in real life. Some people are more worried about having to avoid those so as to not get their feelings hurt. I'm a person who wpuld do such a thing and i wonder if, maybe, there's always been something about me that turns people off. Sometimes, I end up looking like a fool and saying things that I never meant to say, which may cause distress or feelings to be hurt. I began to wonder if I ever made friends at all or if I'm just talking to a wall with words and images. I may always be at fault for the things I might say to upset them, but I want to be better at how I interact with those I care about.

My prayer request is that I hope The Lord will help me to be better at being a friend and that he'll help me to realize that the people I know are the kind of friends that appreciate me for who I am and can try to be honest with me, even if it seems hard at times because I want to help and care for those I care about.
