Theme: Create a Gospel Tract
This year we are challenging our members to create a gospel tract based on the Biblical Easter story. The purpose of the tract will be to share the good news of redemption, salvation, resurrection, and the gospel of God's love, all in a handy dandy pamphlet that people can easily use for witnessing. If you are unfamiliar with gospel tracts, they are usually small pamphlets that use stories and images to share the gospel, usually there is an opportunity to say the sinner's prayer and accept Jesus at the end. (do an internet search to see examples) They are commonly used for street-witnessing, leaving in public places, or sharing the good news of Jesus' love with a friend.
Entries do not have to be an actual pamphlet. We will accept 1-page tracts, double sided-tracts, multi-page tracts - photo-based, literature-based, hand drawn, whatever you come up with! The main point is to design something that can be used as a witnessing tool. It could be a pdf or jpg that can be sent via email, or it can be a design that can be copied and printed out on paper. Feel free to use your creativity!
We will request that the winners make their design available for download so that others can use the tract for spreading God's love. (if needed the admin of this group can help with that) Winning points is great, but the greatest reward is seeing sinners repent and come into a saving relationship with Jesus!
* Even though the tracts will be available after Easter, they can be used any time of the year to share your faith with others.
Rules
• No plagiarism. There are tons of gospel tracts already being used by churches, please do not copy them. For this contest we want you to come up with your own original idea. Plagiarism is a sin.
• Only gospel tracts will be accepted. They can be literary, digital, traditional art, or photo based...and they must be a gospel tract that uses the Biblical account of Resurrection Sunday / Easter with the goal of leading someone to Christ. You can use creativity and imagination, but the core of the Easter story must stay intact.
• Entries must be submitted to the contest folder called "Gospel Tract" to be entered into the contest.
• You may submit as many entries as you like but concentrate on quality and content, try to touch God with the expression of your art.
• All entries must meet our standard requirements listed in our journal on our profile under "How to submit a deviation". Remember, only members can submit deviations.
• Contest ends on Easter Sunday, April 5th, 2015. Check the countdown clock on our profile page for exact time.
Prizes
Winners will be chosen by the christians staff. They will be judged on both quality and content. If your entry has a strong message you still have a chance of winning even if your artistic skills "have room for improvement". We are looking for quality deviations, but more importantly we are looking for a strong Easter message. All for God's glory!
Winners will be announced 1 week after the contest is closed
