 ~Nomadigin This was created in reference to the lyrics below. And you know what? I'm sick and tired of people who call themselves Christians yet they turn around and completely deny Christ with their actions. I am not judging them on whether they are a Christian or not cause that is for God and God alone to do. All I am is saying is there are way to many people who claim to be Christians yet live completely contridictory lives. These are the ones the world sees. So I ask... what have we become? dc Talk - What Have We Become? A preacher shuns his brother Cause his bride's a different colour And this is not acceptable His papa taught him so It was love that he'd been preaching But this was overreaching The boundaries stretchin' further Than his heart would choose to go Like an angel with no wings Like a kingdom with no king CHORUS 1: What have we become? A self indulgent people What have we become? Tell me where are the righteous ones? What have we become? In a world degenerating What have we become? Of the past 3,500 years of human history, only 290 were peaceful...
and that, is why we have to continually pray to God to bless the missionaries and the saints, that the good news may spread through every nation. we have to be humble and patient. we have to point out the evil and call it as it is. we have to attend church not just in our words but with actions, to build on the rock of love and justice.
the above is about everyone, the 'good' and the 'bad'. humans are filthy by nature and need Jesus to turn on the light and lead us on the streight and narrow.
you and i are blessed with God's mercy, we know of the good news and it's our life mission to bring to others what God has given to us. we should plant the seed of Christianity in everyone we meet, asking them about the ten commandments. we are the leaders, if we like it or not, we are responisble and in the spot light.
you and i, our souls are saved, but the rest of the world is a chaotic mess that desperatly needs some Christian leadership.
we are the leaders, prepaired or not, we have the ability to take a leap of faith every day. God said he wouldnt put any overpowering temptations in our lives if we keep his ways.
the pressure of being a leader gets to me sometimes...we are saints and dont always act like it...
