Self-timed this picture at my school's spiritual emphasis camp about a year ago. The other text on the picture is from Switchfoot's song "Only Hope," which is an incredibly gorgeous song that everyone should listen to at least once.

Easy on the text effects. Your text takes up about 25% of the image, and, though it still looks professional and all, it's in the way.

Great photo though.

i love the use of Switchfoot's Only Hope lyrics in there at the bottom. The only thing that i don't like is that the words get cut off by the bar at the bottom of my desktop. You know, the one with the start menu attached. Yeah, it cuts it off so i can't read the bottom, but that can be fixed, of course.

That's true, although I was careful to keep it out of the most important parts of the picture, I think...well, and I was sort of focused more on prettying it up, you could say, rather than leaving the picture by itself. :shrug: I had fun anyway... ^^;
