I like the beauty of simplicity. This looks a lot like the stickers I see selling in a Christian store where I live, so that must mean you have a good style.

I don’t know much about “Typography” and I think this works fine the way it is, but here are some suggestions that might possibly help this image visually. I think that the colors used are very appropriate, and the texture is good. The text is hard to read because the lines overlap….maybe that was intentional? The center is lighter, giving it a “spotlight” kind of effect which I think is good. Maybe if you made the outer parts darker and the lighter section lighter it could make it even more dramatic (but not so much contrast that the words are hard to read). The focal point is in the dead center (pun intended) and I think that images tend to be more interesting when the focal point is somewhere other than the center.

You mentioned that you might do one on the Gift of God, so I look forward to seeing that! If you do a series I would suggest some variation to keep things interesting. Or maybe even combine them into one deviation.

It’s always good to see art with a good message. And this one sure has a powerful message! Praise God that He rescued us from death through the blood of His Son!

I think its a good piece, no noticeable need for changes but since you want Critique...
Here are some alternatives:

Consider placing the words slightly higher, like 2 or so lines higher. Something to do with how we look at things, and look at higher than the middle.

Also consider making the words another font, more specifically a cleaner clearer font. The objective is to further make it stand out. If you don't want inconsistency in font type, you can take the red words, and erase or fill up missing parts. You can do things like outerglow, emboss, make it 15% larger(overlapping those above, below and the sides a tad) and what not. But not all

I think your Vignetting is good enough. If you want more, do a gradual darkening from the top and bottom(but not sides), making a kinda wide oval spotlight and a widescreen feel to it.
