20"x16" acrylic on canvas. "The Third One in This" is God. He must be the glue in a couple's relationship. These two bring each other the gift of love, and God entwines Himself into them, to teach them HOW to love.

I like this. Not many people are brave enough to acknowledge the powerful and ultimately positive impact God has in a relationship. Most people may nod their head and but in their heart they will still believe that "they" are the ones who make the relationship work. I think that is a huge lie we tell ourselves. It places an enormous burden upon our hearts, and puts us up for failure.

Yet, if both people realize and acknowledge God's authority and listen to His Holy Spirit wonderful things can happen.

A simple and wonderful work of art, with a profound message that needs to be said louder.
