I have no religion, only faith.

I have no religion, only hope.

I have no religion, only a relationship.

I have no religion, only a promise.

I have no religion, only a belief.

Don't talk to me about religion, because I don't have one.

Description:

I believe in God, but that doesn't make me religious. That's the problem these days when it comes to debates like this. People think that religion causes discrimination. Well, they're right. Religion destroys people's individuality and makes them all the same.

I don't think I want anything to do with religion if that's the case.

I have beliefs. I believe everything in the Bible is true and I try to live by it. If people think my beliefs are considered religious, they're dead wrong. They think that simply going to church makes you a christian. Whatever. Going to church doesn't make you any more a Christian than living in a barn and claiming your a cow.

I don't have a religion, 'cause obviously, it kills who I am, and God loves me for being just that.

James 1:27
Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

Christianity is too superior to be a religion

re·li·gion
–noun
a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, esp. when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs. -- Dictionary.com

Is the bible such a superior book that it's no longer to be considered a book, or would it be a superior book?

In the same way, is Christianity so true that it is no longer to be considered a religion, or would it be the one true religion?

Amen! Relationship is what God made us for and died for, to bring us closer to him.
Put across really well. :)

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and being certain of what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1

I was hoping somebody would point that out. From this verse, we can gather that religion IS important. I hear plenty of Christians express that they "don't have a religion, they have a relationship!" ... when in fact, not having a religion would be like not having a skeleton. Without purity and actual outreach, we're just sitting here being Christians, rather than being Christlike.

I'm...not sure what your point is, but I do think that religion is a belief that many people believe in. All religion is hope but not all hope is religion.

Christianity is a religion, no way around it and stop denying it because it is one. Deal with it, its no different than the thousands of other religions out there.
