Father Forgive

That is a lovely and heartfelt poem. I like the simplicity and honesty in it. It flows very nicely.

The photo in the background is nice, but also very generic. It doesn’t necessarily relate to the subject of the poem, but it does fit the mood very well. It looks like you used a filter on it (maybe something like the water color filter in photoshop). I think it would be nice to have a clear original photo, or something more done to the photo than just putting it through a quick filter.

The text at the top is easy to read, but half way down it gets harder to read because it is blending into the mountains. I see that you tried lightening up the area behind the text, but it isn’t quite enough. A few suggestions for solving this could be putting a white (or light colored) stroke around the text, make the glow around the text brighter, or maybe put the text in a box that is slightly transparent so you can read the text but gently see the image behind it.

Lastly, just some formatting stuff. Center the text better between the top and bottom of the photo. Adding a boarder would be a nice touch too.

Overall I think this is a nice one. Good work.
