"The reward of being 'faithful over a few things' is just the same as being 'faithful over many things' ; for the emphasis falls upon the same word; it is the 'faithful' who will enter 'into the joy of their Lord.'"- Charles S. Robinson
I suspect that most of the individuals who have religious faith are content with blind faith. They feel no obligation to understand what they believe. They may even wish not to have their beliefs disturbed by thought. But if God in whom they believe created them with intellectual and rational powers, that imposes upon them the duty to try to understand the creed of their religion. Not to do so is to verge on superstition. - Mortimer J. Adler

Siphiwe's TestimonyI would like everyone to meet my friend, Siphiwe. We've been friends since Bible College 6 years ago, and he really has been a blessing to me. Without Siphiwe I would be, well, closed minded. He has taught me many things, and I've enjoyed seeing things from his perspective. We all need friends like this - friends who don't have the same background we do, friends who have had a very different life than our own. Today, he shared a very, truly, amazing testimony with me. Here is Siphiwe's testimony:
"Well this happened many years ago I would say about ten years ago while I was in High School. I had been suffering from Asthma since childhood and it would be even worse around winter times. My chest would block and I would not be able to breathe. I had to go to the nearby clinic for them to give me oxygen with medicine so that my chest can clear. I also had medicine that I had to keep at home so that I could drink immediately when I felt the symptoms. This
Living Ink IIThis beating mass of red pushes from my chest. The hope flowing in my veins, the pain intermingled. And I wouldn’t change any of it.
There’s a lot of things said about the heart in the Bible. That we need to keep His word in our hearts, to guard them from evil, like in Proverbs 4:23, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” Psalm 73:26 says “My flesh and heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” Our hearts are frail and imperfect; they leave us feeling incomplete. When we are cut and broken down we bleed the red that represents our sin. This is why God says in Ezekiel 11:19 “I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh.” He transforms us in a way so that when we are broken in this life we may not bleed red but bleed life, hope, and endurance.
We can choose to believe in God and
One Body"The idea that the while human race is, in a sense, one thing - one huge organism, like a tree - must not be confused with the idea that individual differences do not matter or that real people... are somehow less important than collective things like classes, races and so forth. Indeed the two ideas are opposites. Things which are parts of a single organism may be very difference from one another: things which are not, may be very alike. Six pennies are quite separate and very alike: my nose and my lungs are very different but they are only alive at all because they are parts of my body and share its common life.
Christianity thinks of human individuals not as mere members of a group or items in a list, but as organs in a body - different from one another and each contributing what no other could.
When you find yourself wanting to turn your children, or pupils, or even your neighbours, into people exactly like yourself, remember that God probably never meant them to be that.

Welcome Home "Baby, hold on!"
Mommy sounded scared. Her hands gripped the steering wheel and made it spin in circles. The car started to turn, and I tried to ask her what was wrong, but something bright made it hard to see. There was a really loud noise and Mommy screamed, one of her hands flying over to hold my shoulder. I was thrown against the seat belt, and I felt one of the pretty rings Daddy had given her get caught in my sweater before it got all dark.
There was a little pain for a minute. Something sharp hit my face, and I could feel blood trickle down my cheeks. Mommy's hand was jerked away as I felt a heavy weight on my legs and tummy. It felt like we were spinning as we got thrown side to side roughly. Normally, I would have been crying and squealing for Mommy to help me, but all I could do was breathe in quickly. It felt like all the air had been sucked from my little lungs.
Where is Your Sting?O Death, where is your sting?
O Hades, where is your victory?
There's One who conquered you,
And changed Earth's destiny.
From birth, you have tried to claim my life;
You have severely tortured my soul.
But you have no power over the Holy One
Who alone can make me whole.
My Lord Jesus has defeated the grave!
The power of death is Satan's no more!
The serpent of old is rendered powerless,
And soon we will all be restored!
O Death, where is your sting?
O Hades, where is your victory?
My Lord has overcome you,
And now He'll complete my story.
A Timely OccurrenceIt was simply a clock falling off the wall, right? A meaningless occurrence that just happened to take place during the church service this Sunday morning... Right?
Half of the congregation didn't even notice at first. We were in the middle of worship, immediately after our pastor had reminded us that the church revival meetings would take place every night this week and urged us to attend them all if possible. There was no earthquake, nobody striking the wall, nothing. A clock situated too high for anybody to reach just fell down, landing in a seat that was fortunately empty and giving the man in the row behind a start.
It's not like God would try to send us so direct a message, right?
After worship a guest evangelist preached in place of our pastor, booming to us all about the importance of the coming revival meetings and, most importantly, telling us that we cannot allow the Holy Spirit to be quenched or held back from these meetings. He made a case for us that we have to have our h
Sweden without GodThis is the result of godlessness and the rejection of God's law as Sweden has become the most godless and thus the most I really wish I didn't have to point out something so horrible but this is the reality of what is going on. Some of the statistics that I have stated can be found in the description below.
