The Sacrifice
Death must be paid, He became the sacrifice.
They laughed, they mocked as the lashes struck.
He cries in pain for the things we've done.
Could you see His love with each strike?

To feel God's powerful love...To feel God’s love...
 
God is my LORD. He will be for eternity. When I felt sad and needed cheering up, I would pray to him and I would know he is listening. Just the other day I felt tempted by the devil and I am so thankful I have realized it. I was scared and confused, I felt like a sheep strayed from the herd. My parents would not let me go to church and I felt like I was slowly drifting away.
But my prayers were not left unheard. I feel like God has taken me back into his hand again, (although he really has never dropped me.) It is a feeling that I cannot experience from any physical substance. God is holy, he is invisible, I cannot touch him, but I feel closer to him than anyone else I can see, feel or touch. I am truly grateful that he has taken me into his care. I am grateful I met people God has planned for me to meet, who has guided me slowly to the ways of the church. It is a miracle. My thanks for the Lord will be for eternity.

Welcome!

#christians or the deviantMISSION as we call it, is one of the largest and the first Christian group on dA.

The deviantMISSION is a group of interdenominational Christians made up of those who 'believe in' and understand the sacrifice made by Jesus Christ for our sins and uphold the word of God (The Bible) as the supreme and final authority in all matters on which it speaks.

This group will have Christ-related art, writings, and information for those who'd like to know more.

For prayer requests please send us a note with "Prayer Request" in the subject line.  We will add you to our prayer journal.


How to become a member

1. ALL APPLICANTS for membership MUST AGREE & ABIDE at least to our Essentials of Christianity & Statement of Faith & you MUST state so in your membership request. (READ IT HERE) - This is a basic list and not necessarily all inclusive.  However, members wishing to "contribute" to our gallery MUST ABIDE by the principles we agree to.
2. After reading press the "Join Our Group" button at the top of the page and tell us if you have read and agree.
3. NOTE: You MUST agree and abide by our Essentials of Christianity & Statement of Faith.

NOTE:  The administration retains the exclusive right to revoke memberships deemed questionable or that do not abide by our tenants of faith and/or membership requirements. We also retain the exclusive right to update or revise the membership requirements, therefore, revise these requirements regularly.


How to Submit a Deviation

1. Submissions MUST be Christ centered & or Biblically based and sound in order to be accepted.  This must be CLEARLY seen either in the deviation or the description. Note: At times a submission may be accepted and after review deleted if it does not meet the standards.
2. ONLY deviantMISSION group members will be allowed to submit deviations. DO NOT submit deviations from others that are not members. Membership is a requirement.
3. Press "Contribute Art" above.
4. Choose Appropriate Category
5. Wait for approval.
:bulletred: We allow 10 deviations per week per folder.


:star: SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Any submitted deviation at the deviantMISSION should be done to exalt God and God alone.  
2. We wish to emphasize that #christians is about Him, not about us (Galatians 2:20-21). Members looking for their self proclamation of talent are discouraged from participating at #christians. Please use your own personal account for this purpose.
3. Please ensure that the submission is "obviously" Christ Centered or Biblically based. Be specific in the art, words or description. Leave no room for guessing.
4. No entries should contain pornographic, nude imagery, sexual, and/or inappropriate representation.
5. The deviantMISSION administration retains the exclusive right to accept entries and to reject submissions that may be deemed questionable as it relates to content and/or quality.
